In my lifetime, I have come across my fair share of terrible movies, and I don’t know how many of them would fall on the list of Worst Ever. Many frequenters of an online community feel they have plenty of kindling for the fire. There was someone who asked a popular entertainment forum, “What is the worst movie you’ve seen?” And here is how the internet felt.
1. Winnie the Pooh: Blood and Honey (2023)

One film buff described the film as “On top of being very bad, this movie takes itself seriously, looks very cheap, lacks any creativity, and the ending is so abrupt and comes out of nowhere. It was a long, terrible experience despite the movie being only 1 hour and 40 minutes long.”
2. Dragonball Evolution (2009)

“My husband made me go and see it when we were first dating, and I visited him in his home state.” One spouse denotes, “I will never forget how awful that movie was. The first thing he said when we left the theatre was, ‘I’m sorry.'”
3. The Last Airbender (2010)

“Shyamalan may as well have gotten the plot from the back of a cereal box and decided he’d make a live-action movie. And then pronounce the names wrong and shove it all into a single film,” several moviegoers agreed. Another person commented that they haven’t watched an M. Knight Shyamalan movie since this one.
4. Jeepers Creepers: Reborn (2022)

I personally enjoyed the first Jeepers Creepers film, but apparently, I was one of a few. There were several forum members who felt, “The opening scene was actually pretty good, and after that, it was beyond unbelievably bad. The graveyard scenes gave me vertigo. Watching people run across an entire CGI-generated landscape that looked like it was from the 80s and had zero depth was unbearable.”
5. 65 (2023)

Adam Driver is known for driving the role home, but many agreed that wasn’t enough to save this dumpster fire of a film. A frequent flyer recalled, “I started watching it on a flight, and after 25 minutes, realized I’d rather stare at the seat in front of me. Unbelievably bad movie from what looked like promising trailers. There were no transition scenes! They just cut from clip to clip, and nothing made sense!”
6. Jack and Jill (2011)

Many declared, “Best answer, except for Al Pacino and the Dunkacino song. That was unexpected gold. But yes, a horrible movie that made me question all of the life decisions that led me to my couch to watch that movie.” This is hard for me to hear because I am a huge fan of both Sandler and Pacino.
7. Yoga Hosers (2016)

I worked the opening night for Yoga Hosers, and Kevin Smith was there and introduced it. I’m sorry it was so bad. Like really bad I think I could make a better movie bad. He even said he knew it sucked. The audience at the end was brutal with their questions. One guy was like, why are the movies you make so bad? And he got booed. Kevin Smith was like, no, that’s OK, man look… and proceeded to talk to him for like 40 minutes.”
8. The Circle (2017)

“I REALLY enjoyed the book, and I was so excited when I heard they were making it into a movie. I feel like it could have been somewhat salvageable if they had at least not revealed a huge plot twist early on.” An avid book reader denoted, “The movie is referenced in the book’s sequel. The author makes his feelings about the movie very apparent.”
9. Eragon (2006)

“This was so disappointing. The Inheritance Cycle is one of my absolute favorite book series ever. Masterful storytelling.” Another bookworm described their feelings on the film adaptation, “And then the movie….just blah, complete blah! I always hoped someone would attempt to make a movie series that could do the book series justice.”
10. Independence Day: Resurgence (2016)

This is how one cinephile dissects the film, “This one. I sat through this entire film, and there’s just nothing there. It’s not just bad narratively; it’s dreadful technically. The editing is all over the place. If you sit down and watch the action sequences, there isn’t a single cut that makes any sense. Everything about it is wrong.”
11. Skyline (2010)

“I watched that when I was deployed. I think that was the only movie everyone in the Tactical Operation Center that night was infuriated we wasted our time watching.” A military service member paints the picture, “And we watched some pretty terrible movies just for laughs.”
12. The Cat in the Hat (2003)

One parent described their time at the theater, “The Cat in the Hat (with Mike Myers). I don’t remember what year; I don’t even remember why I hated it. I have blacked the whole thing out of my memory. It’s the only time I remember ever wanting to get up and walk out of a movie, but my kids were little, and they were watching it. It felt like absolute torture. I’ve seen other bad movies but was able to just shrug it off, but for some reason, I felt like this movie was trying to kill me.”
