10 Animals That Are More Evil Than Most People Think

Are you an animal lover? I am, and I am one of the dumb ones. I’ve never been to Yellowstone because I know better. Ha! If I could ever touch a deer, that would be heaven. I want to love, hug, and pet all the babies, but wild animals are more dangerous than many think. Here are ten animals that most people don’t realize have a layer of evil.

1. Dolphins

Dolphins are adorable and typically considered a friendly helper in the sea. We’ve all heard stories of them rescuing humans. But they have a sinister side and are the bullies of the ocean. Male dolphins have a laundry list of offenses, including rape, killing their offspring, and killing porpoises. They’ve also been known to aggressively sexually assault humans, and they kill sharks for fun.

2. Kangaroos

Kangaroos are generally gentle animals who only attack if they feel threatened or their young are in danger. They can be aggressive toward people but are more interested in drowning your dogs! Perhaps it’s an instinct because of dingo attacks? Still, if a kangaroo feels threatened, they will lead the predator to the water and drown them.

3. Geese

Geese are aggressive, mean, and terrifying when you’re a toddler being chased down by a Candian goose. Yes. It bit me! And I am not the only one. While human attacks are rare, they do happen. Most of their “attack” is chasing and hissing. But biting and hitting you with strong wings can occur if they feel threatened.

4. Chimpanzees

As cute as they appear, chimpanzees can be vicious creatures. The Washington Post reports: “Chimpanzees are natural born killers, and they prefer mob violence.” Dozens of children have been injured and brutally killed by chimps raiding villages in Uganda.

While no one can say with certainty, the primary factor behind the problem could be that many chimps have lost their natural habitats to farming throughout western Uganda.

5. Orcas

With the nickname “Killer whale,” it’s no surprise that orcas can be evil. Although orcas aren’t whales and actually belong to the dolphin species. Still, they’ve been known to aggressively attack without reason. They also eat baby sea creatures, including dolphins, sea lions, seals, and sperm whales. And they don’t just eat them. They play with them first!

6. Raccoons

Don’t let the cute masks fool you. Raccoons are vicious creatures that hunt in packs and will kill your pets. Raccoons are responsible for killing cats, small dogs, chickens, and ducks. Owners said they didn’t kill to eat them, just to end their lives. Healthy raccoons tend to leave humans alone.

7. Peacocks

Did you know that peacocks can be aggressive and cause serious damage in attacks? The prettiest bird is also one of the meanest! They can grow up to four feet tall and have sharp talons and beaks. Despite their beauty, it’s best to stay away from them, especially peacocks found in the wild.

8. Ducks

Speaking of cruel birds, ducks are the worst! Don’t let the quack quack fool you; these territorial birds have been known to attack humans and pets. They also rape and kill other ducks! mating season is a brutal time for the female. Muscovy ducks have been called out as the worst of the bunch.

9. Pit Bulls

Before you come for me in the comments, pit bulls have a bad rap for a reason. They are responsible for the majority of dog bite fatalities. From 2010 to June 2021, there were 430 fatal dog bites, with 185 coming from pit bulls and another 41 from pit bull mixes. I know. I know. It depends on the owner, and everyone knows a pit bull — that’s the sweetest thing ever.

Nonetheless, it doesn’t negate the fact they are the most dangerous dog breed. I took care of a pit bull for a week who was “the most docile creature ever.” The owner and I got into a heated argument. She yelled, and that dog attacked me.

An entire week of love, hugs, cuddles, and kisses instantly became a vicious attack. I’m not the only one who shares that story. Fortunately, someone was there to get the dog off of me before it seriously injured me. I’m not saying they are all vicious, but let’s not pretend they are innocent.

10. Polar Bears

Don’t let the Coca-Cola bears fool you. Polar bears are incredibly aggressive and have been known to attack humans. Fortunately, attacks on humans are rare. If you ever encounter a polar bear, don’t run and do not make direct eye contact with them. It’s a sign of aggression to them.

As someone with a substance abuse disorder, overcoming it was the most difficult thing I’ve ever done. People can be heartless and judgmental, and ignorant. They say things like: “If you don’t want to be a drug addict, just quit. It’s that easy. I have no sympathy for them.” Or “I just don’t understand addiction.”

Is there anything you do or notice others doing like they are safe when they aren’t? While I am confident, the list is long — after someone asked an internet community: “What’s really dangerous but everyone treats it like it’s safe?” — Here are their honest confessions. Do you agree?

So many things that were once true in my lifetime are no longer true today. For example, my math teacher told us we needed to learn math because we wouldn’t carry a calculator in our pocket all day. While it’s still true that you need to learn math, you do have that calculator today. Here are several other former truths.
